Andrew Wiggins
Andrew Wiggins tallies 20/8/8 line vs. Atlanta
Fri, Apr 18, 2025, 4:56 PM
Andrew Wiggins turned in a full line on Friday with 20 points (8-of-17 FGs), eight rebounds, eight assists and two three-pointers against the Hawks.
Analysis: After scoring 20 points in Wednesday's play-in win over the Bulls, Wiggins added 20 more on Friday and also approached triple-double territory. He may not have been the star that the Heat were hoping to bring back in exchange for Jimmy Butler, but he fits in well with this team and will help them be dangerous in the first round of the playoffs against the Cavaliers. That series will begin on Sunday.
Bam Adebayo
Bam Adebayo pours in 17/11/5/2/5 line vs. Atlanta
Fri, Apr 18, 2025, 4:48 PM
Bam Adebayo stuffed the stat sheet on Friday with 17 points (8-of-14 FGs), 11 rebounds, five assists, two steals and five blocks against the Hawks.
Analysis: Adebayo didn't have a bad game offensively, but he really left his mark on the defensive end. As one of the premier defenders in the league, Adebayo was able to do a bit of everything to help Miami keep their season alive. His seven “stocks” matched his season-high, and he recorded his third straight double-double. Adebayo be tasked with slowing down Cleveland's two seven-footers in the first round of the playoffs as the Heat look to pull off their second win over a No. 1 seed as a No. 8 seed in the last three years.
Davion Mitchell
Davion Mitchell scores 15 points in second half
Fri, Apr 18, 2025, 4:38 PM
Davion Mitchell came alive in the second half and finished with 16 points (5-of-13 FGs), three rebounds, five assists and four three-pointers against the Hawks on Friday.
Analysis: Mitchell only scored one point in the first half, but he came up big for Miami after the break. Mitchell scored 15 points in the second half, including nine points in overtime. Combined with his defense on Trae Young, Mitchell was instrumental in helping the Heat survive Atlanta's comeback. He'll continue to be an important reserve for Miami as they take on Cleveland in the first round of the playoffs. He'll do his best to slow down Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell, but he likely won't contribute as much offense as he did in this game.
Tyler Herro
Tyler Herro scores 30 to help Heat clinch playoffs
Fri, Apr 18, 2025, 4:16 PM
Tyler Herro tallied 30 points (10-of-21 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, seven assists and five three-pointers in 44 minutes in Friday's win over the Hawks.
Analysis: Herro dazzled in Friday's play-in tournament win over the Hawks, with timely baskets late in the fourth quarter and overtime to help Miami secure the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The sixth-year guard's performance was his 12th consecutive having scored at least 20 points, with the Heat winning 10 of those games. Herro will look to stay hot on Sunday as the Heat take on the Cavaliers in Game 1 of their opening-round series.
Nikola Jovic

Ira Winderman
Nikola Jovic (hand) and Pelle Larsson (ankle) have been upgraded to available to play against the Hawks on Friday.
Analysis: Both players were upgraded to probable Friday afternoon and have officially been cleared to suit up. Jovic has been out since February 23, while Larsson was made available to play against the Bulls on Tuesday but didn't see the floor. It's unclear how much either player will play, but they will both be available if needed.
Kevin Love
Kevin Love (personal) out again vs. Hawks
Fri, Apr 18, 2025, 8:21 AM
NBA Injury Report
Kevin Love (personal reasons) is out for Friday's matchup with the Hawks.
Analysis: Love's streak of absences will extend to 14 as he misses the Heat's Play-In matchup with the Hawks. If Miami wins and advances to the playoffs, the team will face Cleveland in the first round, and Love will have a chance to return against his former team.
Nikola Jovic
Nikola Jovic, Pelle Larsson probable Friday
Fri, Apr 18, 2025, 7:39 AM
NBA Injury Report
Nikola Jovic (hand) and Pelle Larsson (ankle) are probable for Friday's matchup with the Hawks.
Analysis: Jovic has been out since February 23, and Larsson hasn't played since April 7. Both players are expected to take the court for Miami's win-or-go-home matchup with Atlanta. With most of Miami's roster available, Larsson is unlikely to play many minutes. Jovic may see some court time, but he could be on a minutes restriction after such a long layoff.
Pelle Larsson
Pelle Larsson, Nikola Jovic questionable Friday
Thu, Apr 17, 2025, 10:40 AM
Ira Winderman
Pelle Larsson (ankle) and Nikola Jovic (hand) are questionable for Friday's game against the Hawks.
Analysis: No big surprises on the Heat injury report heading into Friday's game. While Larsson and Jovic are questionable, Duncan Robinson (back), Alec Burks (back) and Haywood Highsmith (Achilles) are all available. Larsson was questionable, but ultimately available against the Bulls Wednesday, though he didn't play due to coach's decision. Jovic was out Wednesday as he hasn't played since February with a broken right hand.
Andrew Wiggins
Andrew Wiggins drops four triples, scores 20 pts
Wed, Apr 16, 2025, 4:10 PM
Andrew Wiggins accumulated 20 points (8-of-20 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and four three-pointers in 35 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Bulls.
Analysis: Wiggins was impactful on both ends of the floor, supplementing Tyler Herro's 38-point effort with 20 of his own while recording a complete stat line. Since joining the Heat, Wiggins has shot nearly 46 percent from the field on 14.8 attempts per game, averaging 19.0 points. While those numbers are solid, the Heat will need more from him to extend their season. Miami visits Atlanta on Friday, with the winner advancing to face one-seed Cleveland in the first round of the playoffs.
Bam Adebayo
Bam Adebayo posts 15/12/3/2 line vs. Chicago
Wed, Apr 16, 2025, 4:04 PM
Bam Adebayo amassed 15 points (6-of-16 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one three-pointer in 36 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Bulls.
Analysis: Adebayo is one of the NBA's best and most versatile defenders, and the Heat used that to their advantage on Wednesday. He began the game guarding Josh Giddey, which may have thrown off the Bulls' starting point guard. Adebayo didn't have the best night shooting the basketball, but his rebounding and defense helped lead the way as Miami held Chicago to a season-low 90 points. The Heat visit Atlanta on Friday, with the winner advancing to face Cleveland in the first round of the playoffs.
Tyler Herro
Tyler Herro torches Bulls, scores game-high 38
Wed, Apr 16, 2025, 4:01 PM
Tyler Herro shot 13-of-19 from the field and 9-of-10 from the foul line in Wednesday's win over the Bulls, tallying 38 points, five rebounds, four assists, one steal and three three-pointers in 37 minutes.
Analysis: Herro was scalding hot to begin Wednesday's game as he shot 8-of-8 from the field and scored 23 points in the first half. The damage was done with the Heat holding a 71-47 lead at the intermission. The Bulls should be happy that Herro committed seven turnovers on the night; things could have been worse. With Wednesday's result, Miami has beaten Chicago in the Play-In tournament three consecutive years. Next up for the Heat is a matchup with the Hawks on Friday in Atlanta, with the winner receiving the eighth seed in the East.
Nikola Jovic
Nikola Jovic, Kevin Love out Wednesday vs. Chicago
Wed, Apr 16, 2025, 12:07 PM
Ira Winderman
Nikola Jovic (hand) and Kevin Love (conditioning) are out for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Jovic and Love have been out for extended periods, with the former last playing on February 23, while the latter did not play in 19 of Miami's last 20 regular-season games. Due to the time missed, their absences will not impact the Heat rotation as the team looks to keep its season alive in Chicago.
Pelle Larsson
Pelle Larsson (ankle) available Wednesday vs. CHI
Wed, Apr 16, 2025, 12:04 PM
Ira Winderman
Pelle Larsson (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Larsson returns after missing Miami's final three regular-season games with a sprained right ankle. The rookie wing will provide additional depth off the bench but is unlikely to figure prominently in the Heat's game plan.
Pelle Larsson
Pelle Larsson, Nikola Jovic questionable vs. Bulls
Tue, Apr 15, 2025, 9:38 AM
NBA Injury Report
Pelle Larsson (ankle) and Nikola Jovic (hand) are questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Larsson is looking to return from a three-game layoff, while Jovic hasn't played since February. The Heat will need to rely on Haywood Highsmith, Kyle Anderson and Jaime Jaquez Jr. to play heavy minutes off the bench if Larsson and Jovic are ruled out.
Jaime Jaquez
Jaime Jaquez Jr. snaps, drops 41/10/7 line vs. WAS
Sun, Apr 13, 2025, 9:41 AM
Jaime Jaquez Jr. shot 17-of-25 from the field and 5-of-7 from the foul line in Sunday's loss to the Wizards, scoring 41 points with 10 rebounds, seven assists and two three-pointers in 41 minutes.
Analysis: The Heat rested most of their key contributors for Sunday's regular-season finale, resulting in Jaquez having the ultimate “green light” offensively. The good news for fantasy managers in active leagues who streamed him is that the offensive freedom did not crater his efficiency. Jaquez shot 68 percent from the field and finished with a career-high point total. Add in the rebounds, assists and three-pointers, and Sunday's performance should instill some confidence in Jaquez ahead of Wednesday's matchup with Chicago, even if his role is going to be vastly different with Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo on the court.
Davion Mitchell
MIA start Mitchell, Duncan, Jaquez, Haywood, Ware
Sun, Apr 13, 2025, 6:52 AM
NBA Lineups
Davion Mitchell, Duncan Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith and Kel'el Ware will start Sunday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Tyler Herro, Alec Burks, Andrew Wiggins and Bam Adebayo are out for Sunday's regular-season finale, getting an extra day of rest before Wednesday's play-in tournament matchup with the Bulls. Mitchell, Robinson, Jaquez and Highsmith are the replacements, with the first two being especially valuable to fantasy managers in active leagues seeking value on the waiver wire.
Alec Burks
Alec Burks, Nikola Jovic out Sunday vs. Washington
Sat, Apr 12, 2025, 10:25 AM
Miami Heat
Alec Burks (back) and Nikola Jovic (hand) are out against the Wizards on Sunday.
Analysis: While Burks has been a consistent member of the Heat rotation, Jovic has not appeared in a game since fracturing his hand just after the All-Star. Whether or not Nikola will be available for Miami's play-in tournament matchup with the Bulls is unknown, but the Heat have no such concerns with Burks. The Heat are locked into the 10-seed regardless of Sunday's result, so players like Keshad Johnson and Josh Christopher should play plenty.
Kevin Love
Kevin Love, Isaiah Stevens out Sunday vs. WAS
Sat, Apr 12, 2025, 10:18 AM
Miami Heat
Kevin Love (personal) and Isaiah Stevens (foot) are out for Sunday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Love has not been available since March 21, while Stevens has only appeared in three games this season. Their absences will not impact fantasy basketball, even with the Heat being without multiple rotation players.
Andrew Wiggins
Andrew Wiggins, Pelle Larsson out Sunday vs. WAS
Sat, Apr 12, 2025, 10:16 AM
Miami Heat
Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) and Pelle Larsson (ankle) are out against the Wizards on Sunday.
Analysis: Miami already knows its seed and opponent for next week's play-in tournament, so there isn't anything at stake for Sunday's regular-season finale. Wiggins and Larsson will rest up for next week's matchup with the Bulls, as will multiple Heat rotation players. Terry Rozier and Jaime Jaquez Jr. are absent from the injury report, so they should log extended minutes on Sunday.
Tyler Herro
Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo out Sunday vs. Washington
Sat, Apr 12, 2025, 10:07 AM
Miami Heat
Tyler Herro (rest) and Bam Adebayo (rest) are out for Sunday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: The Heat are locked into the 10-seed in the East, regardless of Sunday's outcome. Herro and Adebayo will sit out the regular season finale to avoid a little wear-and-tear ahead of their play-in tournament matchup with Chicago. While Kel'el Ware is available, his playing time could be limited since there isn't anything on the line. Keshad Johnson and Josh Christopher are two players who are likely to log extended minutes after not being in the rotation for most of the season.
